Unable to connect any remote to Roon (ref#AW8JHX)

Is Roon Server running?

Please try to restart your Roon Server by closing the Roon app in the taskbar or rebooting your Roon Server machine.

Please try to restart your network setup by unplugging, waiting 30 seconds and then replugging in your networking gear.

Have you checked your firewall settings to ensure that Roon is allowed through?

Sometimes the issues can be resolved with a reinstall of your Roon Remote app. Let's try to perform a reinstall and see if it helps.

Thanks for writing in, and welcome to the Roon community! We’re excited to have you here - sorry its an issue that prompted your first post.

We’ll need a bit more information around your network setup since you’re having issues connecting to your server. Can you temporarily bypass any extenders and get a direct ethernet connection from your server to your primary router, and let me if you run into the same issue?

Are you able to access the webUI of your ROCK? Here’s more info on how to do this:

You can type http://rock or http://rock.local or the IP of your ROCK into a web browser, and this should pull up your webUI.
