I am trying to connect to a Bluesound Node2i directly without a server. The Node is roon ready

Describe your network setup

Spectrum modem, tp link router

You still need a Roon Server on some type of PC

You need a computer to run Roon, connected to a router on your internal netowrk. Roon will see the Node2 on the same Network and play music to it.

Thanks for writing in and welcome to the Roon community! We’re excited to hear you’re looking into getting Roon setup with some of your Bluesound devices.

As others have mentioned in this thread - you will indeed need a machine running Roon Server in order to adjust your audio devices.

From your account settings, I see you have an available Macbook Pro that has Roon Server installed on it, were you able to sort things out?
