Describe the issue

Hi, I cant connect with the server which is installed on my QNAP NAS. Roon works perfectly but not Roon Arc. My hardware: ONG Modem (fiber optic connection), AVM Fritzbox 7590AX Router (Port Forwarding enabled), QNAP TS-464 (NAT disabled, Firewall for Ports set).

I still get these failure message:

{
"ipv6_connectivity": {"status":"NetworkError","status_code":504,"error":"error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined"},
"ipv4_connectivity": {"status":"NetworkError","status_code":504,"error":"error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined"},
"external_ip": {"actual_external_ip":"194.aaa.bbb.jjj","actual_external_ipv6":"fe80:ddd:ddd:ddd:eee:fff:ggg:hhh","router_external_ip":"null"},
"status": "status": MultipleNatFound
,
"natpmp_autoconfig": {"status":"NotFound"},
"upnp_autoconfig": {"server_ip":"192.168.178.1","found_upnp":true}
}

Can you please support?

Describe your network setup

Hi @Matthias_Kahl,

Thank you for your post. You’re most likely stuck behind GigaNetz’ CG-NAT layer, which will block port forwarding above your account level. Per their website:

I recommend installing Tailscale on your phone and on your QNAP instead and using that for NAT traversal. This is the most common workaround for users in this situation:
