I can log in to Roon on a PC, or a gen 6 ipad, but cannot connect with a 2024 ipad m4 pro. I can see the zen mini mk3 via my innuos with Roon Core as it base, but cannot connect via Roon
Describe your network setup
roon core is on a zen mini mk3, using and ipad m4 pro for roon, zen mini is connected to router via cat6 cable and ipad is connected to router via wifi, router is a TP-Link AX5400 model vx420-G2h
Welcome to the forum! Can you please confirm, is there any change if you try to reboot your Zen Mini?
Since the issue only occurs on your specific iPad, is there anything interesting about how the iPad is set up or is it connected to a different access point/WiFi system compared to the other working devices?
I would also suggest checking iPad Settings → Roon and ensure that local network access is turned on, and that no VPNs or (Private Relay) is running.
I have rebooted the zen mini several times and still no response. Again i can see the server through my innuos and the IP address is the same as for that displayed in roon. This address is different from when i logged in via the older ipad. Checked the settings and all okay.
Issue resolved. The solution ended up being resetting my iPad. I guess when it replicated from my phone the settings on the phone were transferred to the ipad(?). My phone could not connect to Roon either, but this is a work phone and perhaps there were some settings that would not let Roon connect.
