You mentioned an iPad and Roon ARC in your post - just to be clear, if the iPad doesn’t have a cellular antenna, it won’t be able to reach your server outside your home network regardless of the port forwarding status.
If you’re having issues with Roon or ARC on your home network with the iPad, please ensure you’ve set your Private Wifi Address to “Fixed” in the iPad settings. This is under Settings → WiFi → click on your home network → WiFi Details.
If this doesn’t help, please let us know the operating system on which you’ve set up your RoonServer. Our diagnostic servers are having a hard time reaching your server at the moment.

I wonder if I need to set up my iPad Pro as if I’m a new member with all new data.
I’m only about 5 feet away from my system as I have been the many years I’ve been on Roon ( which I love). I think it’s my new iPad Pro that is causing the problem but have no idea that to do next. There must be an answer.

Can you please clarify, are you trying to connect to Roon remote (regular Roon app), or to ARC (Roon on-the-go)? Can you check iOS Settings → Apps → Roon, and ensure Local Network Access is switched to On? Is there only one router in your setup?

Can you please share a screenshot showing where you’re stuck on the problematic iPad? We need to confirm whether this is a Roon or ARC issue, as these will require different settings adjustments to resolve.
