Description of Issue

I am unable to connect to my recently installed Roon server running on MacOS with my Android phone running the Roon Remote app.

I have tried the several troubleshooting suggestions in the Roon Remote page and ensured that both devices are connected to the same network.

This issue does not exist in similar product (Audirvana) and their remote app.

Roon Server Specifications

2023 Apple M2 Pro Mac Mini 16gb Ram, 512gb SSD. External DAC connected via USB, wired ethernet internet connection to an Eero Pro 6E router hardwired to cable modem. Roon remote and Roon MacOS are current versions as of 12/21/23.

Connected Audio Devices

Google Pixel 7 running Android 14 connected to same network via 6ghz band. DAC is SMSL DO100 connected to server via USB. Mac Mini is connected via ethernet to router.

Home Network Details

Eero Pro 6E. Ethernet directly to Roon Server. Full internet connectivity in other applications. Currently playing music.

Can you confirm you have also attempted to use the .APK Roon download? If not, please give it a try below:

I’d also test out disabling your mac firewall and see if the issue persists.
