Hello @colincarey1234 ,

Welcome to the forum! Can you uplease confirm if your 432 Evo is powered on and in Roon Server mode? If the device has a web interface, I would suggest checking the Roon Server status there. Let us know how this goes!

Hi @colincarey1234,

We haven’t seen a response from you on this thread and we don’t see an active server, remote, or endpoint/Zone matching the hardware in your description.

It sounds like you’re using the Evo to host your music library and that you’d mounted the drive via network share.

Do you see the device listed in your router’s list of connected devices on the LAN? What about if you try to access the files from a file viewer, and not Roon?

Do you have any network hardware other than the Vodaphone router listed in your post? What about second routers or managed switches? Let us know the relative configuration of your networked devices - the more detail you can provide, the better equipped we’ll be to help.

We’ll watch for a reply. Thank you.

Based on your first post, it’s possible you might need to:

  1. add RoonServer.exe to the safelist on the Windows Defender firewall

and/or

  1. enable guest fallback permissions for the third-party NAS.

Please follow the steps in this article on your Windows 11 machine:

This solves the vast majority of cases and we haven’t seen a response, so we’re going to tentatively mark this post as the Solution. The thread will remain open for another day or so if you require additional troubleshooting. Thanks!
