The new Roon update has brought requirements for slightly less outdated operating system libraries, see the release notes:

This is a major release for us, and an important step forward for Roon. We’ve migrated the platform underneath the app to a newer foundation, which improves performance today and gives us a much stronger base for the work ahead. Hi @ludlowknowles , welcome to the community.
Please note the link that @Suedkiez shared, you will need to be using AMS v4 and up to use Roon with the new version, can you please confirm your setup meets this requirement?

The DX should be able to support AMS v4.4 and even v5.
