I cannot connect to my NAS anymore

router - TPLink Deco D4R - Modem - Hitron - Coda NAS - Synology - DS218 - RoonServer is running on an old toshiba laptop which is hard wired to the network as is the NAS.

Actually, Roon cannot connect to my NAS at all. I did switch to a roon server on my main computer and it did connect to my NAS, but performance is poor due to being used as my main computer ( I need a new one), drop outs in the stream.

Thanks for writing in to ask us about this issue. We activated diagnostics on your account and found that Roon can’t find the NAS at the specified network path. Can you share a screenshot of your Roon settings → storage page?

There are two servers shown, the one in question is the Strauss-DS218. The other is for another home.

We did loose connection to the NAS on our Blue Sound Node 2i. It required me to log into the NAS with my Administrator account login. but now it is connected.

I think I got it fixed. I logged in to my NAS successfully. Earlier I believe I had a typo in the password multiple times, confusing a ‘b’ for a ‘6’.

Roon is now scanning the NAS.
