Describe the issue

Description of Issue

I am using a Nucleus+ as my core. I recently updated my MacOS to Sequoia 15.1 (as well as updating my iOS devices). When I recently launched the Roon app (whether from my Mac, iPad, or iPhone), I now can’t find the core. I can’t connect to it via nucleusplus.local on my network or any other way I am aware of. I have reset the router, restarted my computer, and the Nucleus+ has been powered off and on several times. I removed and reloaded the Roon app on the Mac and iPad. The Nucleus does turn on and it appears there is connectivity between the router and the Nucleus because I see the lights on the connection on both. I am not sure if this is an issue with all the new MAcOS and iOS updates or a repeat of a hardware problem I previously had with my Nucleus+, which required replacement of a board. Please advise. Thanks.

Hey @Joshua_Leader,

Thanks so much for taking the time to write in and share your report!

Are you able to access the webUI any other way? Here’s more info:

Within the Mac itself, can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

If none of the above help, can you next plug a monitor into the Nucleus via HDMI and share a screenshot of what you see?

I cannot connect to the webUI in any way that I am aware of. I had already tried to toggle on and off the local network access and rebooted my machine multiple times. I plugged in a monitor to the Nucleus and I don’t see anything. I am starting to think that this is a hardware problem again. I believe last year, shortly after getting the Nucleus+, it failed and had to have a board replaced. This now seems like it might be the same issue, and maybe I just have a faulty machine.

Hi @Joshua_Leader ,

If you have no HDMI output, unfortunately, it does sound like a hardware issue. Please complete the below form to get in touch with our RMA team:
