For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.
· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.
Describe the issue
Hello; my iPad and iPhone remotes cannot connect to Nucleus plus. It seems to be on but the small LED on the power button is not lit. Nucleus is properly connected via ethernet. I tried to reboot using IP but I cannot even see Nucleus plus. I tried to unplug/ plugback and no luck. Please help.
Describe your network setup
Connected via range extender - has been working so far for 3 years
If you have a monitor/display available, connect the HDMI output of the Nucleus+. This will generate a report from the BIOS that should indicate if there’s a hardware or OS-level issue with this machine.
We’ve noticed you’re running Roon 1.8 - is there a reason why you haven’t updated to Roon 2.0? Please note that the legacy branch is now officially unsupported. We’ll do our best to troubleshoot and assist you if you’d prefer to run 1.8, but we’ll only ship fixes for Roon 2.0.
Hey folks; it has started working all of a sudden, for no particular reason and I am not sure if you did anything from your end. However, in the back of the unit on the power button, I still don’t see the LED to be lit. In any event, would you please send me a step-by-step direction of how to upgrade to 2.0 as I would like to get that done ASAP.
Many thanks!
