For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.
· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.
Describe the issue
I was listening to Roon when I lost connectivity. I can find my Roon Nuc+ on the network - same network as my laptop and mobile phone. I have the network address but it doesn't respond when I enter it on a webpage nor when I click on the link in my network manager. When I click on my Roon remote, it cannot find the Roon Server.
Describe your network setup
My network set up hasn't changed and I was listening an hour ago. I have a Fritz!Box 7590 router. Ethernet is running to a NetGear Prosafe GS108 switch then to the Roon Nuc+.

And what happens when you select a different roon server?
The Nucleus+ is online according to our servers. From your description, the web administration page is inaccessible. A few things I’d try:
Verify that you aren’t connected to a separate subnet on your other devices
Try a different physical ethernet port on the unmanaged switch. Try connecting the Nucleus+ directly to the router.
If you’re still having issues, connect the HDMI output of the Nucleus+ to a monitor or screen to output hardware diagnostic info. This should indicate whether there are any issues with the network interface itself.
Hi @Connor
Thank you very much! I tried connecting the Nucleus+ directly to the router and was able to connect. Working backwards, I then realised that in my misguided efforts to fix the drop-out, I messed up the switch connections.
All working now.
The HDMI output also showed no issues with the Nucleus+.
Cheers,
Phil
