Unable to connect to Roon Nucleus One via Finder network (ref#ESUMX9)

What’s happening?

· My library isn’t working correctly (local/streaming, importing, or storage access)

Describe the issue

I am connected to my Roon Nucleus One via network connection and am able to access the browser interface via the IP address, but when I try to connect via the finder network connection it says "The server does not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."

I am running Mac OS 14.7.8 and trying to transfer files from my 2018 Macbook Pro. I am able to transfer files by dragging them onto the Roon app but I have thousands of files I want to transfer so I would prefer not to transfer them that way.

I am trying to connect to my Roon Nucleus One via my Verizon 5G home internet router and my TP Link AC1750 router, neither are connecting successfully. I'm trying a wired connection to transfer files.

Thanks for writing in, and sorry to hear about your connection issues!

We’re not seeing your Nuclues tied to your admin currently - but one area I would check would be the possibility of your local network devices being on different local subnets. If you check the IP’s, do the first 6 or so numbers match? For example: all devices showing 192.168.2.yyy

In the meantime, it would also be good to review a set of Roon Server logs from your Nucleus - could you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader? Once logs have been uploaded, please let us know so that we can check the server for your files, thanks!

Hi Benjamin, thank you for the response. I wasn’t able to get the logs as I couldn’t connect to the Nucleus One but I did try deleting and manually re-adding my ethernet adapter from the network settings on my computer and after re-adding it I was able to connect right away. I think there must have been some leftover network settings (I’ve used that network adapter from Dante in the past) that were causing the issue. Anyway the problem is solved and I successfully transferred my library to the Nucleus internal storage. Thanks!
