Describe the issue

I am trying to connect to a Roon core (small Green Computer Sonictransport i5). When I open Roon on my iPad the first screen reads Connect to your server” and shows the sonictransport. There is a green ready and a connect button at the cotton of the screen. When I press the connect either happens or the next screen reads “waiting for your Roon server”
After that nothing happens and the server is never found. I previously used Roon with a Nucleus Rev B and had the same issue. I thought the Nucleus failed but now getting same and can’t connect

Describe your network setup

Netgear Nighthawk router CAX30
Trendnet gigabit Ethernet switch
TPLink MC220L gigabyte ethernet media converter
Sonic transporter i5.
Sonore optical Rendu
Lampizator Amber 4 DAC

Hi @john_dottore ,

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like your SonicTransporter is on earlyaccess and your iPad is on production, Roon can sometimes have issues when running between branches. Did you mean to install early access on the SonicTransporter? I believe there’s a way to revert back to production version via their sonicorbiter.com interface, though I can’t comment on specifics. Also, I would ensure you have a recent Backup made of your database before performing the switch (you may need to temporarily install early access iOS version).

Yes that was the issue. I reinstalled Roon on the Sonic Transporter and set to standard to match the iPad.
All working again.
Thanks for the fast response.
