suddenly i can’t control volume from app - i get a “volume is fixed” message - can you help?

i really can’t provide all that info - my server is a nucleus (2021 model) and my other stuff is cambridge audio media streamer and integrated amp - roon arc is fine and music plays fine through roon but can’t control volune anymore

Have you looked at your device setup to see if its set to “fixed volume” and whether you can change it to DSP volume?

  • What is the specific model / version of the CA device?
  • How is is connected to Roon?

Also, what troubleshooting steps have you tried (ie rebooting Roon and the CA device)?

Thanks for reaching out to let us know about this issue. @bearFNF’s suggestion is also my first instinct based on the error message you got. However if that turns out not to be the issue please provide the information that @Carl asked for.
