Hi @k0chka8877,
We appreciate you writing in, but we’ll need a fair amount of additional information to be able to assist accordingly.
I see you are running Roon Server on a windows machine, what device are you having issues with specifically in regards to not being able to adjust the volume? Have you reviewed the zone settings - specifically, ‘exclusive mode’?
We’ll be on standby for your reply and additional details. Thanks!
Hi! this is my unfinished appeal, I couldn’t create a ticket and I just emailed contact@roonlabs.com.

Hi! i have a hiby RS8 player and i listen to music through roon arc + tailscale. I noticed that compared to qobuz, the sound when listening in roon arc is much quieter and I can’t increase it. Maybe I need some additional settings? I would be glad if you could help me.
Hi @k0chka8877,
This isn’t the first report of something like this happening with a Hiby product. On my Hiby R8ii i cannot change the volume.
What type of headphones are you using with the DAP? Can you make sure you are using the PO jack and not the LO jack?
Hi! I use the elysian anihilator.
there I have a 4.4 cable so I can only use one connector, the leftmost BAL.
Hi @k0chka8877,
Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, Roon ARC does not currently have any settings to increase gain. However, we understand how useful such a feature could be, especially for fine-tuning audio playback on the go.
We encourage you to make a post in the Feature Suggestions category of our Community forum. Many of our updates and features are driven by user feedback, and sharing your suggestion for adding a procedural EQ or gain adjustment in ARC would help us gauge interest and prioritize development.
If you have any additional questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help!
