Unable to discover Hiby R8ii DAP as Roon endpoint after firmware update (ref#0RV9HW)

my Hiby R8ii DAP recently just updated to system firmware v1.40, according to Hiby this version makes the DAP 'Roon Ready'. However, after the update I've thus far been unable to discover / find my Hiby R8ii as an endpoint from any of the Roon controller apps (MacOS, iOS). There is a new 'Roon Ready' icon on the DAP, and clicking it shows a static screen - my guess is launching this on the DAP should now make it a valid Roon endpoint, but so far haven't been successful in playing to it. Any insights on your part or is this more likely a Hiby implementation issue?

Thanks for reaching out. I’ve activated diagnostics for your account and I can see that the Hiby is being detected as a Roon Ready endpoint, but the connection is failing. Can you please try to perform a full reboot of the Hiby and the Roon Server to see if this helps (power off, wait 30s, power back on) then try Roon Ready mode again?
