· LastFM login has failed, but I can't edit the connection in Roon. When I click "Edit", it pops up a dialog telling me to edit the connection, then returns me to the main Services screen.
directly from their website and navigate under your profile to Settings → Applications, do you still see Roon listed as an active service? When does it say “last used?”
I think the next step here is to enable some diagnostics on your account so our technical staff can get some more insight into what’s going on here.
However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.
First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.
My problem is that I no longer have the Last.fm account: It’s been deleted. In Roon, I just wanted to delete the link. When I click “Edit” in Roon, I see the following buttons: ‘Done’ and “Retry.” So I can’t seem to get any further with removing the LastFM-Connection…
But I wouldn’t be able to link a newly created Last.fm account either… I’d have to delete the Roon user…
Thanks for letting us know. We’ve asked our QA Team try and reproduce the behavior, we appreciate you providing the steps! Once they have had a chance to look into it, we will follow up. Thank you in advance for your patience.
I’ve been in touch with the QA team and they have been able to reproduce the issue and we’ve opened up a bug report with our development team regarding this. I can’t specify when the work will commence on fixing this, but your report helped us be aware of this behavior, thank you for letting us know. Since there isn’t much more we can do from the support side at the moment, we will go ahead and close this thread for the time being, please be on the lookout for a fix for this issue in a future Roon release, thank you!
The fix for the current issue is under QA review. You may see the changes in the upcoming releases. Please keep an eye on the Roon Software Discussion > Software Release Notes.
Thank you for your patiance.
