· LastFM login has failed, but I can't edit the connection in Roon. When I click "Edit", it pops up a dialog telling me to edit the connection, then returns me to the main Services screen.

I can confirm this issue. I’m also unable to change my login credentials.

Hi @matt, @zonurben,

If you login to

directly from their website and navigate under your profile to Settings → Applications, do you still see Roon listed as an active service? When does it say “last used?”

No.

Incidentally, my Lastfm password had expired and I had to reset it to login to the website, in case this is relevant to how Roon got into this state.

Hello @matt

I think the next step here is to enable some diagnostics on your account so our technical staff can get some more insight into what’s going on here.

However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.

First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.

My problem is that I no longer have the Last.fm account: It’s been deleted. In Roon, I just wanted to delete the link. When I click “Edit” in Roon, I see the following buttons: ‘Done’ and “Retry.” So I can’t seem to get any further with removing the LastFM-Connection…

But I wouldn’t be able to link a newly created Last.fm account either… I’d have to delete the Roon user…

I have the same issue. See also the short screen grab.

lastfm retry

I just clicked Edit/Retry a few times, starting at 8:35am Sydney time.

I think you can reproduce this issue with these steps:

  1. Connect Roon to a last.fm account
  2. On the last.fm website, change your password
  3. Restart the roon server

It’s then impossible to unlink the last.fm account or enter the correct password

Hi @matt ,

Thanks for letting us know. We’ve asked our QA Team try and reproduce the behavior, we appreciate you providing the steps! Once they have had a chance to look into it, we will follow up. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Hello @matt ,

I’ve been in touch with the QA team and they have been able to reproduce the issue and we’ve opened up a bug report with our development team regarding this. I can’t specify when the work will commence on fixing this, but your report helped us be aware of this behavior, thank you for letting us know. Since there isn’t much more we can do from the support side at the moment, we will go ahead and close this thread for the time being, please be on the lookout for a fix for this issue in a future Roon release, thank you!

Hi @matt,
