· Hello.
I’ve run into a problem with Roon. I am unable to enable a specific type of audio device. Although the device is detected in the "Audio" tab of the Roon settings, I cannot enter settings such as the device name when attempting to enable it. The device that cannot be enabled is the Oliospec Canario-bridge.
I would appreciate your advice.
My connection setup is: Router → Ediscreation Silent Switch OCXO → PC (Dynabook Win11 Roon Server) & Sforzato Columba & Oliospec RDOR.

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

Can you try clearing your endpoint cache? You can do so using the following steps:

  • Create a fresh backup
  • Stop Roon (or RoonServer)
  • Find and open your Roon or RoonServer folder
  • Navigate to /Roon/Database/Registry/Core/
  • Delete all the endpoint_ files in this directory.
  • Restart Roon
  • Please let us know if this helps

Note: Deleting these files will

  • Delete your audio device information

If this doesn’t help, please restore the backup you made before trying these steps.

Just checking in on this. Were you able to make a fresh backup, stop Roon or Roon Server, delete the endpoint_ files from the /Roon/Database/Registry/Core/ folder, and then restart Roon? If the cache clear did not change anything, we can help you decide on the safest next step, especially since those files remove saved audio device information. Please let us know what you’re seeing.
