Unable to find server and locate settings button as a new Roon user (ref#K58MAT)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Can’t reach my Server, remotes or ARC

Can’t connect to my Server, remotes or ARC

· Other ARC issues

Tell us what's going on

· New To Roon and there is a message that it can't find the server. I looked at help with some answers but I can not find the settings button anywhere on any available screens. any ideas how I can find it. Thanks Ted

· Mesh network hub with ethernet cable going directly into P.S. Audio PMG Signature DAC. It all works and I can see it fine with Qobuz connect.

Could you advise where your Roon Server is running.

Are you are not running Roon Server on RoonOS (on a Roon Nucleus or ROCK on a NUC) this is the expected behaviour for that screen as it’s look for a RoonOS installation.

Are you experiencing any other problems with Roon system?

Welcome to the forum! We are not seeing any Roon Server registered to your account, so we need a bit more detail on where it is running. If you are not running Roon Server on RoonOS, on a Nucleus or ROCK on a NUC, then this is the expected behavior for that screen, since it is looking for a RoonOS installation. Roon needs to have some kind of Roon Server running, it is not a standalone system that can run directly on the DAC. Do you have any compatible PC that can host Roon Server functionality?
