Yes, you must have technical knowledge. And I don't have that. what I know is that I can download but can't install

The error you’re encountering usually means that the installer is trying to write a file that is currently being used by another process. We can try two possible solutions to resolve this:

  1. Open Task Manager, look for any processes with “Roon” in the name, and close them. Then try running the installer again.
  2. Go to Control Panel → Uninstall a program, find all applications related to Roon, and uninstall them.

Laptop cleaned with cleaner, . roon removed from download. restarted. looked in task manager and found nothing of roon. seems logical to me if you can’t install

Would you kindly clarify whether you currently have any antivirus software running? If so, could you please try temporarily disabling it to see if it affects the issue?

virus scanner removed, cleaner removed, restarted. roon downloaded again, press install and get the same message again
