Thanks for writing in. Looking at your system, you’re running Roon Server on a Naim device with a Linux 4.19 kernel. Unfortunately, Roon 2.65 requires a newer Linux kernel and is unable to install on this version.

Since the operating system on your Naim device is managed entirely by Naim, this isn’t something that can be updated from the Roon side — you’ll need to reach out to Naim support to ask whether a firmware update is available that includes a newer Linux kernel compatible with Roon 2.65.

In the meantime, Roon 2.64 should continue to function normally on your device.

Sorry I don’t have a better workaround to offer here.

I have no idea what @Peter_Bevis is using as a Roon Server but it is definitely not a Naim device, simply because there exists no Naim device that can run Roon Server. They only offer Roon Ready streamers and their Uniti Core, which is a proprietary UPnP server for use with the Naim app.

What is the machine you’re using as a Roon Server here? We see the server as recently online; do you have it running in a docker?

My Roon runs on a Grimm MU1.

Thank you for your advice - apologise for the slow reply. You were bang on - my Grimm MU1 had an update pending which I had failed to notice - the interface is a bit basic. Once I installed the update, Roon updated and as you imply - nothing has changed. Everything was working fine before and it continues to work fine.
