Describe the issue
When I try to connect to Roon, I get the message: "There was an issue loading your library". This has been the case for several weeks now. I have an Innuos Zenith player with music on its hard drive. I have used Roon to play music from the Innuos Zenith.
Describe your network setup
I have a Netgear Nighthawk router connected the Innuos Zenith.
Thanks for taking the time to write in, and welcome to the community! We’re happy to have you here, but apologize in that it’s an issue that prompted your initial post.
Our servers are having a tough time reaching your Innous device, could you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?
This will help us better understand if there’s any damage to your database.
In the meantime, I’d also attempt to restore from a saved backup that predates your issue, if at all possible.
I didn’t find RoonServer logs from the Library on my computer. There was a RoonServer folder in the Library and in that a Logs folder, but this folder was empty. I did a search and found a RoonServer folder from somewhere else on my laptop and this contained RoonServer logs. I sent them to you.
Thanks for sending the logs over. The database errors that we are seeing in your logs are typically related to hardware failures (RAM/SSD). I am not sure if Innuous staff have a way to check the health of these remotely, but you may want to reach out. To further confirm if the database is the issue or the hardware, you can also try to restore the backup to a different PC and let us know if that works.
I had a remote session with Innuos and the Roon database seemed to be corrupted. They cleared the database and now Roon is working again. Also the RAM in my Innuos unit seems to be failing, maybe that had something to do with the Roon problems. I will replace the RAM.
