Describe the issue
Can't find Nucleus Plus. My unit recently returned from your lab in the Philippines to correct the same problem. Connection is wifi on deco. No ID on Fing app for unit. Off and on everything but no change.
Thanks for your message. I checked your account diagnostics, but I am not seeing your Nucleus as being active at all. If you try to connect it to the primary router, bypassing the Deco extenders/repeaters, do you still have the same issue? If you plug in the Nucleus via HDMI when it is connected to the main router, what does it show listed on the screen? Please share a screenshot/picture.
Tried all but no luck. I think you are correct the unit is not active, same as before the repair.
Still not showing up on Fing. I have 32 devices active on my deco and they all have no
disruptions, and even reconnect after a blackout without any assistance.
But not Nucleus. So sad.
Direct LAN Cat 5 to back of Globe modem results in no change.
HDMI Screen is black. No data.
So now I am forced to use my MacBook Pro to connect to Roon.
Nucleus+ is Expensive and I even paid for repairs so I can enjoy my
lifetime subscription to Roon.
Since this Nucleus is located outside the US, there is not much that we can do to directly help with the issue. Looking over your case progress, it looks like your motherboard was replaced with a new one, so it is very strange that you are still having issues.
Furthermore, I see your Nucelus as being online 3 days ago, after you reached out, but it doesn’t look like there were any errors in those logs. Is there anything that you changed 3 days ago that caused it to boot up properly then?
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, again.
For some weird reason my Nucleus finally showed up for one day,
and then it was gone the next day, when I turned it back on.
Three days ago, I was using the Roon app on my Mac and I was looking at the “Choose Your Server” screen.
It was prompting me to select my Mac, when all of a sudden the Nucleus came on line and I saw the option to choose the Nucleus. I was shocked. Maybe my Nucleus finally connected to the internet because I had just done the reboot for the Nucleus, my modem, and the deco mesh. This was the first time the Nucleus had shown up after over dozens of reboot attempts over many days that all failed to work.
I am wondering how sensitive the Nucleus is to blackouts, as we lose power here in the Philippines rather frequently. I have 29 clients on my Deco and none of them have any trouble coming back online all by themselves. I am using a PS Audio power plant P-12, and an MK2 with their Air Lense, which all give me no trouble, ever. Only the Nucleus. I now have it on my workbench so I can easily reboot everything together, repeatedly every day, but still no luck.
Time to UPgrade to the new unit? Hopefully that will be as reliable as all my other gear?
Maybe you can ship to my US address?
Please just let me know. I could sure use some good news and little
kind consideration.
Thanks for your update, glad to hear that the Nucleus is back. Yes, power outages can certainly have an impact on the stability if it does not have a chance to shut down properly. Our customers have often opted to install a UPS battery backup in surge-prone areas, I would suggest looking into the same on your end.
