For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.
· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.
Describe the issue
I relocated my Nucleus to an another place. It's still connected to via ethernet. For some reason, Roon app can not locate it. I can find an ip address on my router , however when I try to connect to it, I receive a message that the address can not be found.
Describe your network setup
Roon is connected directly to network switch (also tried direct connection). Nucleus is connected via USB to MacIntosh Mac
Hi @Robert_Davison,
Thanks for writing in to ask us about this. I will echo @Geoff_Coupe’s question about connecting your Nucleus to your Mac. Additionally can you try plugging your Nucleus into a monitor via HDMI? Once you do please share a picture of the screen or tell us what you see.
Another update. The Nucleus appears on my router and is assigned an IP address 10.0.0.9. However when I try to access it, I receive the message that the page can’t be found - which I assume is the set up page. Hopefully the screenshot will assist
I think that the SSD in your Nucleus is failing - that second screenshot shows that it is reporting the model as a ROCK installation, while it should be stating that it is a Nucleus.
The setup screen should at least be accessible at 10.0.0.69 (not 10.0.0.9 as you stated).
@daniel will respond with the next steps after the weekend (the Support Team do not work at weekends).
