Ok, I am at my wits end here.
For the last week I have been trying to login to Roon ARC on my iPad Pro 2021.
All of my iPad OS and Roon apps are all up to date as of the time of this post.
When I try to login to ARC on my iPad, I get an error that “something went wrong” and am prompted to “try again.”
Steps I have tried to get this to work:
1- rebooted mac mini where core runs
2- restarted roon
3- restarted raat
4- restarted arc on ipad
5- deleted and reinstalled arc and roon remote on ipad
6- tried on several different networks
7- checked port forwarding on my router
8- reset the listening feature in the roon program on my pc (port is set to 55002)
No matter what the heck I do, I cannot login to ARC on my ipad - I am losing my mind
I finally decided to pull the $800+ trigger on a lifetime license for Roon this year, and this is my initial greeting… unhappy at the moment
Maybe I am missing something simple? I would love for a Roon tech person to give me some totally obvious answer where I can feel dumb but also be happy that I am moving on.
It should be said, my iPhone 15 Pro Max runs ARC with zero issues, and has been running for weeks and weeks now with never giving me any trouble. Both my phone and iPad point to the same Roon server.
Can someone please help me figure out how to get ARC up and running on my iPad?
Is there some cache to clear, or some Roon info I need to figure out how to permanently delete from my iPad that I am unaware of?
Anyway - please chime in if you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
