Describe the issue

I've used roon for 7 years without issue with my Innuos server. Today, on my iPhone XI, it asked me to login. I did so, getting as far as saying me to "Welcome back! Choose an account" and listing my account (Michael Gamer mgamer@upenn.edu). But when I choose that account, it says "redirecting" and then kicks me right back to the login page.

Here is what I've tried to do so far, without success:
1). Turning the Innuos off and on again.
2). Deleting the Roon app from my phone and re-installing.
3). Trying to log in to Roon on my laptop
4). Logging in to MyInnuos via my laptop.
5). Turning my wifi router on and off again.

None of these have resolved the issue. I'm not sure what to do since I can't seem to log in, and don't know how else to play what is on my server. Could you help? I'm sure that I'm missing something obvious.
Thank you,
Michael Gamer

Hello @mgamer, welcome to the community!

Thank you for the detailed description and screenshots. We can see the login loop clearly - after choosing your account it redirects back to the login page.

Two things to try:

1. Complete the login in Safari instead of the in-app browser

When the login page opens inside the Roon app, look for the Share/Options button (usually at the bottom of the screen) and select “Open in Safari”. Complete the login there - this should bypass the redirect loop.

2. Update your Innuos server

We can see your server is running Roon version 2.62 which is outdated. Updated Roon Remote apps on iOS may have trouble connecting to older server versions. Please log into your Innuos web interface and check if a Roon Server update is available.

Let us know how both steps go and we will take it from there.

Hi @mgamer,

Wanted to follow up on this. Were you able to try opening the login flow in Safari instead of the in-app browser, and did you check whether an update is available for your Innuos Roon Server, since it is still on version 2.62? Let us know what you find, thanks.

Hello @mgamer ,

We have not heard back from you, so we will go ahead and close this thread due to inactivity. If you need further assistance, please submit a reopen support request via the technical support help form link and specify that the issue be reopened. Thank you.
