Hey @fxclerc,

Thanks for writing in, and welcome to the community! Sorry to hear about your library issues.

We were able to review a fresh diagnostic from your Roon Server, and unfortunately, it looks like you’re experiencing database corruption:

Error: [Broker:Misc] [broker/database] corruption detected: IO error: /Users/fxc/Library/RoonServer/Database/Core/broker_4.db/MANIFEST-010432: No space left on device
Warn: [Broker:Misc] [broker] detected corrupt database, notifying client

Based on the above snippet, this means your Mac’s storage (specifically the drive where RoonServer is installed) has run out of free space, preventing Roon from writing or updating its database. The corruption detected message likely appears because Roon attempted to write to the database but failed due to insufficient storage.

A few options for you are:

  • Check Available Storage: Go to Apple Menu > About This Mac > Storage and see how much free space you have.
  • Free Up Space: Delete unnecessary files, large downloads, or move data to an external drive. Empty the Trash to reclaim space.

After doing so, see how things perform.

Do you have any existing backups at all? If no backup is available and Roon still doesn’t work, a database reset might be necessary.

Here are the steps to perform a database reset:

  • Make a Backup of your current RoonServer Database
  • Exit out of RoonServer
  • Navigate to your RoonServer’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
  • Reinstall the RoonServer App from our Downloads Page to generate a new RoonServer folder
  • On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Roon Server” and connect to the new database
