Your error message is very self explanatory.
Yesterday’s release of Roon requires MacOS 12 or later. Update your Mac accordingly. If your Mac doesn’t support these newer versions of macOS it cannot be used with the latest version of Roon.
Update – April 20, 2026:
We’re moving this release to April 27, 2026.
Testing and EarlyAccess feedback surfaced issues with the Docker image on some Linux and NAS systems. Docker can run on a wide range of hardware, operating systems, and storage configurations, and each combination behaves a little differently - some issues are in the image itself, others only show up in specific host environments. Is there no way I can go back to the previous release?

In practical terms, that means better efficiency, reduced memory usage, and a platform that gives us more room to keep improving Roon in the releases to come.
You should feel that work in everyday use. RoonServer now uses memory more efficiently and retur…
Another option is to rely on a third-party app like Open Core Legacy Patcher.
Thanks Connor
I have re-installed the older version and now all is ok. I just have to be very careful now regarding any updates.
