Unable to play 2MBS radio station due to updated streaming address (ref#08G6NF)

· HI, I've been listening to 2MBS for years through Roon. Recently I've been receiving an error message - « Unable to play this station. It’s address may have changed or it may be temporarily unavailable «. I contacted the station and they tell me they have upgraded the streaming, moved to a new address and turned off the old streaming server. They provided following information - Hallo Greg

As mentioned, the loss of connection is most likely due to your Roon system’s database pointing to our old streaming address.

This actually changed mid last year, though the old streams have only recently been turned off.



I am not familiar with the database that Roon systems use, but the information below may assist you.



If your system allows you to search for stations via streaming service aggregators such as iHeartRadio, TuneIn etc, try searching for 2MBS Fine Music Sydney through those.



Should connection not be available using an aggregator you could try inputting one of the direct links below as a manual/custom connection:



https://radio12.shoutcast.net.au:2020/public/2MBS-ICE (AAC stream, preferred)



https://radio12.shoutcast.net.au:2020/public/2MBS-ICE-MP3
