Hi, I have my Music folder saved on a PC running Windows 10 Home (storage) while I installed the Roon Lab trial version on my Asus Laptop running Windows 10 Home Ed., i5, 64bit, 8GB memory as my Core. During set up I successfully mapped my PC music folder. When I checked in the settings, I can see my desktop folder but I cannot play the music saved in my PC. Only the albums in my laptop are appearing. When I tried to add the music folder from my PC thru the settings and storage menu, it says that folder is already added but unable to access the content. As I am in the trial period and trying to get to know Roon, I am presently outputting the audio thru bluetooth from my laptop to my stereo system. How can I access my saved music from my PC (storage)? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hello @Bong_Salas,
What happens if you try and re-add your PC storage as a new “folder” in the storage settings?

Hi John,
Thanks for the feedback. I actually managed to sort out the issues same day when I sent my inquiry so thanks for the feedback. Only concern now is the lagging and dropping while playing a music. I have a fairly fast wifi in the house (about 24mbps). Wondering why the connection between my laptop and PC keeps on dropping while playing a tune using roon. Its says 'Roon downloading is slow (or something to this effect) " and then it will switch to the next song, only to have the same issue. Yesterday I was unable to play a complete album due to this problem, hence i decide to shutdown roon and just paly CD
Hello @Bong_Salas,
Is it possible for you to test using your laptop connected to the router with an ethernet cable? I always recommend testing this way when having issues to make sure that it’s the wireless connection that is the issue instead of something else in the system.
