Describe the issue
If I select an album in KKBox which does not display the quality (from 44.1 to hi-res) then the tracks will not play. I suspect this is an issue with the files in KKBox
Describe your network setup
NAS connected via ethernet cable to the web through the ISP's router
Thanks for writing in and sharing your report! We were able to review a fresh diagnostic report from your Roon Server, and saw KKBox playback errors in relation to location, more specifically:
Warn: [Broker:Media] [kkbox] [kkbox/http] error result from http request: {"error":{"message":"Not authorized on user's territory
This suggests that KKBox determined your current location does not have the necessary streaming rights for the requested content. KKBox likely enforces regional restrictions based on licensing agreements, and the user is trying to access content that is unavailable in their country.
A few follow-up steps you can take in this case:
Verify that your KKBox account is registered in the correct region.
If using a VPN, try disabling it to see if the issue resolves.
Test playing the same track in the KKBox app to confirm if it works outside of Roon.
