Number of Tracks in Library
Description of Issue
I have ARC installed on my iPhone 14 Pro.
I have downloaded a few hundred music files from my network drive to play while ARC is offline as in when I have no network connection or am flying.
Recently I am unable to play those files when ARC is offline. The play button is grayed out and unresponsive.
Playback is restored when ARC comes back online. I assume this is not the intended response.
Any idea why this is happening?

Click on the gear icon, and switch ARC to offline mode.

Are tracks listed or is the list empty?
@mjw there is an ongoing issue where even in offline mode the track list is empty for downloaded albums and you can’t play anything. I can repro this right now simply by enabling offline mode. I’m on earlyaccess and it was reported here for EA:
That was happening many builds ago and was successfully fixed until latest build:
Now again when ARC (on Android) doesn’t have Core connection it’s impossible to see tracks in majority of downloaded albums. The exception are the albums that were recently being played when ARC was connected to Core.

I don’t imagine the OP is on early access; does this affect production? I not used downloads for some time.

I’m not sure but it might because it has been going on in EA since ARC build 149 at least and the ARC in production is now build 150, so surely very similar
The list is empty. Albums viewed before switching core off appear available but the rest of my downloaded library is not.

I guess that might be the known issue then as in the report I linked above, sounds the same to me at least. Very annoying it is
Does anyone know if this issue is being addressed in a future update?

Nobody knows, see the thread I linked above, or this one
On Roon ARC, if i’m on same wifi network as core, I can see my playlists, but if I click on one, it just spins.
However, if I disconnect from wifi and go on cellular, I can see the tracks and play them just fine.
I want to bring a playlist to a party and I’m not confident about wifi/cell access, so I want to download the tracks to play later.
But is this not possible on same wifi network as core? (I haven’t had the chance to do this from a different wifi network.)
