I am trying to use RoonARC to play downloaded music in offline mode. I wish to do this when I cannot connect to my roon server remotely because I have no internet connection. However, when I try to start RoonARC in this mode, it asks me to log in to my Roon account. I can't do that because there is no network connection. Why do I have to log into Roon inorder to play downloaded musing in offline mode? This makes no sense. I am running RoonARC on an iPhone 15 Pro running Ios version 18.3.1. The version of RoonARC is 1.63.344
No it was the day before I tried this. I was using it on a remote network for a couple of hours and. it simply stopped working. After that I could no longer reconnect, so I tried to us it off-line with the result described. When I got home, I saw that my server was running and I was able to use Roon ARC on my local home network but not on any remote network. The port forwarding I had been using in the router was still there. This type of flaky unreliable behavior is why I don’t use Roon ARC by the way. It has simply never been reliable for me. I with is worked better. Thanks.
Are you able to reproduce this issue at-will or does it happen randomly? Can you let us know the exact local time + date you next face this behavior? We’ll enable logging for your account to see if there are any clues.
