Hello @sasa.glusac

Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand how frustrating it is when your Nucleus only plays Live Radio and refuses to play anything else.

The best first step is to give your Roon Server a fresh start by completely rebooting the Nucleus.

How to Restart Your Nucleus:

  1. Open the Roon app on your remote device.
  2. Go to Settings > Setup.
  3. Click on the Find Roon OS or Configure Roon OS Core link (this will open a web page).
  4. On the Web Administration page, click the Reboot button.

(Alternatively, you can just the physically remove the power cable on the back of the Nucleus to turn it off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on).

Once the Nucleus is fully back online, please try playing a regular track to your SOtM streamer.

Would you let me know if the music starts playing normally after the reboot?

Dear Vadim,

Unfortunately, there’s no changes after Reboot I still can’t listen anything but Live radio. After second reboot following message appears:

Failed to load device state (status: O). Please retresh.

One more information, I can listen Roon arc without any problem.

Regards,

Saša Glušac

Dear Vadim,

the same behavior here in Germany. Friends from Munich just called me and asked for support, my system in Passau (200km distance) has the same problem.

Qobuz and Liveradio doesn’t work, my local library has no problem. I listen to my ripped disks right now. Interesting behavior.

Thank you for your support,

Edgar

Hello @sasa.glusac @Edgar_Kirk

Thank you for your patiance from the diagnostic data, I see the traces of the successful playback from Qobuz

02/24 18:47:09 Trace: [Wohnzimmer] [Lossless, 24/96 QOBUZ FLAC => 24/96] [9% buf] [PLAYING @ 6:54/7:01] Goldfinger - Bill Frisell / Thomas Morgan / Leslie Bricusse / Anthony Newley / John Barry

Are you guys still facing the issues?

Thank you for your analysis, Vadim. That evening I could only play from my history playlist and from my own ripped files. It was not possible to search new files from Qobuz or play internet radio stations.

My assumptions are

  • the local ethernet connection between my QNAP Rock server and my Ropieee node was not affected.
  • The connection to the Qobuz music storage was ok (or is a music file, I played, stored locally?
  • The Roon connection to the Qobuz Metadata storage and the Internet Radio database was interrupted.

Next morning the system worked like expected (and all the years before, thank you!), sorry, that I didn’t report that earlier.

I fear, it will be hard for you, to analyze that temporary glitch. Please let me know, if I can send data to support you in that case.

Thank you for your support and kind regards,

Edgar

Hi Vadim,

Unfortunately I have still the same problem. Live radio works normally but I can’t listen to anything else. There’s a some strange sound few seconds and then skip to next song and the same with whole album or list. Sometimes (very rarely) It manages to play a song but never two in row. It’s very interesting that I can use Roon ARC without any issues.

Regards,

Saša

Hi @sasa.glusac,

Our apologies here! It seems service is still a bit spotty with our upstream DNS outages. Connection is more stable now, if you reboot your server and Roon remotes, how do things perform?

Thank you!

Hi Benjamin,

The only difference is that after reboost doesn’t skip the song, now just stops on selected song and I can’t play even Live radio.

After restarting Nookleus, Live radio works.

Regards, Saša

Hi @sasa.glusac,

Thanks for the update - how are things running now, after another fresh reboot?
