Unable to play music with OPPO UDP-205

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
TCP/IP over Netgear Nighthawk S8000 Switches

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Linn Akurate DS over TCP/IP (Cable), works perfect
OPPO UDP-205 over TCP/IP (Cable), does not work

Description Of Issue
Although I can activate and configure OPPO UDP-205 (current firmware) in/with the remote control (ipad) it is not possible to play music with it.

Welcome to the forum. I have a few questions to begin troubleshooting:

• Do you see any error messages displayed when you try to start playback to your Oppo zone?
• Is the Oppo connected to the same switch as the Akurate or are they on different switches?
• What is your router model/manufacturer?

No, there is no error message. But the “play” button is grayed out. All devices are on the same switch. The router is a device of the Swiss telecom provider Swisscom.

Hi @Daniel_Burkhard,

Have you made sure to enable the Oppo in Roon Settings -> Audio before attempting to send music to it? Have you set it as the active Zone in the zone picker?

Strange, without changing anything at all - it works now.

To answer your question: Yes the device was activated and the zone selected.
