· My Roon One is now connected to the ASUS BE57 router, but I am unable to play any songs from TIDAL within the service. shows "TIDAL media is loading slowly. There might be a network or connectivity issue." I tested and investigated, and if I only use the PC client, it can play normally, but it doesn't work after connecting to the official core. By the way, my player is A6, which should not affect the loading of media files. What' going on?

Were you running Roon server on your PC before you got the Nucleus One? Did you authorize the Nucleus and unauthorize the Roon core on your PC? Roon can’t play music from a client unless it is connected to a Roon server.

You may need to go to Roon - Settings - General and disconnect from the PC server and connect to the Nucleus server. When you do this, Roon will ask if you want to unauthorize the PC and authorize the Nucleus.

Diagnostics show your Nucleus frequently marks itself as unauthorized. Please try refreshing your database:

Try enabling Tidal again. If that works, restore your backup and verify functionality.

Do you rely on a consumer VPN with Roon?

This specific error message indicates that Roon isn’t receiving the file fast enough from Tidal’s servers to feed the buffer. It’s fundamentally a network throughput issue, but it can also be an indirect result of your network’s assigned DNS server failing to resolve the URLs associated with Tidal media files. It can also indicate that georestrictions are in place for Tidal in your location, or that the CDN is not reliably passing data for this specific network pathway.

Can you please verify that a reliable DNS service is assigned in your router settings? For the ASUS BE57, you can follow this guide to access the DNS settings in a browser. Try assigning Cloudlfare (1.1.1.1) then rebooting your network.
