Thank you for your post. You can specify a local location instead of Dropbox for Roon Backups by following the steps here:
If you’re interested in a cloud-based Backup, we recommend still using the Backup process above and then backing that location to the cloud separately. Redundant Backups are also advisable - both regular scheduled Backups, but also manual backups to a separate location.

Do you mean backing up your local music?
If yes, you can backup your music to Dropbox or any other online storage solution.
However, none will work with Roon as a location for your music files.
