Hello @Philippe_GIRAULT,

Thank you for reaching out to Roon support and welcome to our community!

Could you kindly provide some additional details about which exact audio devices are not visible in the sound tab?

To make sure you can see the macOS local output, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network.
  2. Check if Roon is listed and allowed in this section.
  3. If Roon is already enabled, try toggling it off and on again.
  4. After that, reboot your Mac and check if the issue persists.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance!

Roon is already enable on my Mac and off/on and reboot change nothing
Here are the Audioi devices I want to Add (they are on Airplay)

  • Devialet
  • Sonos
  • Arcam

Thanks for the update @Philippe_GIRAULT,

We’re not seeing any instance of your Roon Server within your admin, so we’re unable to enable diagnostic mode to investigate deeper - can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of Roon Server logs to our File Uploader? Once logs have been uploaded, please let us know so that we can check the server for your files, thanks!

If you review the list of devices on your routers IP list - can you confirm all your devices are on the same local subnet within your network?

Thank you! :raised_hands:

Hello
I just sent you the log file via your File Uploader
I’m not sure my Nucleus is under the same local subnet network
Nucleus 192.168.10.39
for exemple Sonos 192.168.1.78
How I can change mu Nucleus IP ?

Hello @Philippe_GIRAULT,

Hello,

Thank you for sharing the log file.

From the IP addresses you’ve provided, it appears that your Nucleus (192.168.10.39) and devices like Sonos (192.168.1.78) are on different subnets. This usually happens when multiple DHCP servers are active on your network, each assigning IP addresses from different ranges.

To resolve this issue, you’ll need to ensure that there is only one DHCP server active on your network—typically this would be handled by your main router. If you have another router, mesh node, or access point also distributing IP addresses, that may be causing the network split.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Access your network equipment settings (routers, access points, etc.).
  2. Identify which devices are acting as DHCP servers.
  3. Disable DHCP on all devices except your primary router.
  4. Restart your Nucleus and other devices to let them get a new IP address from the correct subnet.

Once everything is on the same subnet (e.g., all devices in 192.168.1.x), they should be able to see and communicate with each other properly.

Let us know if you need help identifying which device is acting as the extra DHCP server or how to disable it.

Yes I need help to know which device is acting as the extra DHCP server

Hi @Philippe_GIRAULT,

From your posts above, you have both a MOVISTAR and a Mikrotik router in this setup. This is more than likely the issue, since both routers will be broadcasting a primary subnetwork over WiFI to which the Roon devices relying on WiFi can connect.

I recommend placing the MOVISTAR router in Bridge mode or equivalent. This should be available in the settings - it’s often called “IP Passthrough” if you don’t see Bridge mode.

Thank You I will try…

Hi @Philippe_GIRAULT,
Did you get the chance to try bridge mode?
