Hi, I’m having trouble using Roon on my Windows 11 PC.
I have the Roon server on this PC.
It works perfectly fine through my iPad.
On PC I can’t select any audio devices under Settings->Audio.
It has worked but now this setting has disappeared.
I’d appreciate it if someone could help me solve this.
This sounds like the RAATServer on the PC is restricted from connecting to RoonServer on the same machine. Often, that’s the fault of the Windows Defender firewall - it will sometimes default to blocking Roon after an update. Check that the firewall has RoonServer.exe, RAATServer.exe, and other Roon processes excepted/safelisted.
Next, please verify if you have any antivirus or third-party firewall software active and perform the same safelist step for Roon’s processes there.
Please share a screenshot of the Roon Settings → Audio page illustrating the problem.
What about the system output? If only networked endpoints are missing, check whether your router or other managed network hardware blocks multicast traffic. Make sure IGMP snooping is enabled.
