Unable to set up Roon on PC after previous installation on old Mac (ref#CXFP08)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· can seem to hook it up i think it was installed on a old mac know i trying to use it on my pc and nothing happens i try logging in i see nothing

  1. What is missing? Is the issue affecting your streaming library (Tidal/Qobuz), your local files, or both?

  2. If it is local files:

  • Location: Where are your music files stored? (e.g., Internal drive, USB drive, NAS?)
  • Settings: Could you please share a screenshot of your Settings > Storage tab?

The latest logs to reach our diagnostic servers show your Roon Server has mounted an external storage location since you posted. Are we correct in assuming that you’ve resolved this issue in the meantime?

If you’re still having issues:

Please share a screenshot of your Roon Settings → Storage page, including the Watched Folder for the affected network/USB drive.

If you’re using Windows 11, please double-check that you’ve whitelisted Roon’s processes in the Microsoft Defender firewall:
