Hi @rayl29,

Are you attempting to use the NAS as your server, or as a network storage location hosting your library?

If it’s the former, you’ll need to configure a docker for Roon.

If it’s the latter, you’ll first need to ensure that MacOS has local network permission and that Roon itself has file access. These settings will both be in dedicated tabs under Privacy & Security in your MacOS System Settings.

Here’s a guide to get you started:

Please let us know if this helps and we’ll go from there.

Hi @rayl29,

Just checking in on this. Have you had a chance to confirm whether the NAS is acting as your Roon Server, which would mean setting up Docker for Roon, or whether it is only being used as network storage for your library? If it is the storage case, we also asked about MacOS local network permission and Roon’s file access under Privacy & Security, so let us know if you were able to check those settings and whether the NAS setup guide helped. Reply with any updates or questions you have.
