Unable to sign in due to already active session (ref#FBON7D)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

· Roon won’t start up at all

Tell us what's going on

· Roon asks me to sign in, then tells me I'm already signed in.

Tell us about your home network

· Router, wifi etc

Then please click on Unauthorize to be able to continue.

To add to this:

  • this is on my Mac Mini which is acting as my Roon server
  • when I click ‘go back’ I just get the Roon logo forever

If anyone can tell me what I need to do to get this working it would be much appreciated.

Hi @herewego,

If you’re restoring a Backup, reinstalling Roon, or updating MacOS, sometimes Roon will get into a state where it’s attempting to install a second server install on top of the first.

The team has work in the pipeline to improve this page/condition to prevent confusion.
