Unable to Sign in with New KKBOX Account in ROON After Expired Trial Account - Technical Support Needed (ref#80SCRX)

· I can't log into TIDAL / Qobuz / KKBox

Describe the issue

Hello,

Today I have just paid the full price USD829.99 for "lifetime billing" of ROON after the end of its free trial period. Unfortunately during my free trial period of ROON, I also used another free trial account of KKBOX for testing purpose.

After the expired KKBOX account is signed out from ROON and Microsoft EDGE (my PC's default browser), there is no access for me to sign in with another new KKBOX account now !!!

I have already deleted the account information of the expired KKBOX account (including its password) from Microsoft EDGE and I can successfully sign in Microsoft EDGE with another new KKBOX account.

BUT under ROON Settings > Services > KKBOX [Login] > This error message: "You need to have a paid account in order to use KKBOX in Roon" always shows up because ROON always signs in with the expired KKBOX account automatically !!! I cannot find any way to sign in ROON manually with another new KKBOX account...

Please kindly inform me how to fix this technical problem. Thanks for your help and support!

Yours sincerely,
ieskn96

Describe your network setup

My home network uses wired router for internet connection (without any Wi-Fi) and it is very stable.

Hi @ieskn96,
Thanks for writing in to let us know about this issue. You need to sign out of the KKBOX account in Roon’s settings under services. Click the edit button next to KKBOX.

Then click logout

After that, you should be able to sign into your new KKBOX account.

Thanks for your quick reply! It seems that I need to [DISABLE] my old KKBOX account under ROON before clicking the [LOGOUT] button. Everything works fine now, thanks a lot!
