I tried to remove the bits file as suggested on your web site. Roon still does not start when I click on the roon symbol. Can I reinstall the program or what else should I do?

Which file? Where is this suggested? Do you mean the .rmembid file in the home directory on a Mac like described in this post? (But you seem to be using Windows)

Mostly cosmetic renaming issue?

Ben with the support team here - I was able to pull your account up and see you have Roon Server up and running.
