Unable to stream Tidal Daily Mixes to Naim Uniti Atom from Galaxy S24 Ultra (ref#8D15IM)

Galaxy S24 Ultra phone can't stream Tidal Daily Mixes to Naim Uniti Atom. Clicking on Play is unresponsive.

Nucleus connected by Ethernet. SkyQ router.

Can you please let us know the exact local time + date when you next observe this behavior? We’ll enable diagnostics after. Also, does it affect all Daily Mixes or just one/some of them?

It’s happening all the time. The entire Android Roon app seems to be frozen, whereas Roon plays ok on my Windows 11 computer.

Can you try reinstalling the Roon app on your Android device? We’re not seeing any trace of the android device in our records. This indicates that it’s been more than 30 days since it’s been in contact with Roon’s servers.

That’s strange. I use the Android phone app every day. It’s only the Tidal DMs that don’t work. The same applies to my Android tablet.

Did I misunderstand what you meant by this sentence?

I took this to mean that Roon app wasn’t working at all on Android.

I’m sorry. Yes, my lack of precision. It’s just the Tidal element that is frozen initially, with the rest of the app working ok. But once I have clicked on Tidal, the whole app does indeed freeze.

Hey @David_S,

We have a fix released in our Early Access version of Roon that involved Roon crashing when attempting to play Tidal Mixes, I believe you may be experiencing a subset of this issue in another form.

The good news is this fix will be pushed to our next Production update, which should be soon.

After you update Roon next, let me know if you run into the same issue. Thank you! :raised_hands:

Is it possible to use the Early Access version on one device, say my mobile, while keeping the Production version on the Nucleus?

If not, when will the new Production version be available?

No need to do that. Just click in the Tidal “My Mix” box, but not on the purple circled arrow.

What @Jim_F said. And it is probably a week or so until the update reaches production, at most two, based on history.
