Hello, i had a customer in my shop using roon arc with tidal for streaming over carplay. i really liked the looks of it, and a am already using tidal. so i just bought roon for 3 months but i am unable to get the app running for streaming to my sonos or carplay. i have no roon hardware, as i wanted to use it only mobile. my customer just started the roon arc in his carplay and streamed his tidal, that is what i wanted to archieve with my subscription. thanks for your support.

You HAVE to use a PC at home or work with Roon Server loaded on it for Roon Arc to work, or anything connected with Roon to work.
You don’t need a dedicated Roon PC as such, it can run quite happily on a desktop you already use or even a laptop if powerful enough.

Hi @philippmayr,

Diagnostics indicate you’ve now set up a RoonServer machine.

To connect ARC, you’ll either have to configure port forwarding or install Tailscale.

Port forwarding is a little more complicated, so we tend to recommend Tailscale for most users.
