Describe the issue

I am elderly and not an experienced computer user. My catalogue of music reduced suddenly by 75% so I attempted to restore the original from backup. In doing so I somehow transferred my play output from my full system to my computer (Laptop running Windows 11). It plays music but only through the 'tinny' laptop speakers. I cannot persuade Roon to transfer to my full system - much as I've tried. My audio dealer suggested signing out of Roon and shutting everything off (Roon, computer and even my router), waiting and then starting and signing into Roon again when I maybe prompted to connect to my system. Sounds sensible, but now I cannot sign out of Roon! If I click on log out it just takes me back to a screen saying "Connect to your Roon Server". Clicking on either option here takes me to "Welcome back, do not sign in unless you downloaded Roon" (which I have done of course), this then takes me to a sign in screen - and when I sign in it tells me I am already signed in. Then I am back into "Connect to your Roon Server". And so it goes on - round in circles. Please tell me a foolproof method to sign out so I can start over and try to connect to my system. Thanks in anticipation.

Describe your network setup

Router and modem: BT (latest version). Player including Roon Core: EVO 432 Master. Laptop Asus Workbook (1 year old). All have worked perfectly with me using Roon for the last 3+ years.

Can you post a screen pic. There should be a list of Roon Servers to connect to at that point.

Thanks for trying to help. I was just about to follow my original post up - to say I’ve now solved the problem. I needed to scroll down to Your Devices and then click on “unauthorize”. Then it was simple to link back into my main system.
I had avoided doing this previously - because I didn’t know quite what I was “unauthorizing”.
I think my case is a good example of someone who isn’t familiar with computers being fazed by the unfamiliar.
Anyway, all good now. And thanks again.
