Have you tried it? This combination works fine for me at present.
Roon Server: 2.64 on DietPi
ARC: 1.74.391 on Google Pixel 6 running Android 16
It is certainly taking a lot longer than previously for the new release to be made available on Google Play here. Until recently, the new ARC release would be available within hours of the software release. The 1.74 release took a day or so and thus release seems to be taking even longer.
I tried - it says it can’t connect to the server (old Mac laptop which can not be upgraded to Monterey so I have that headache next when new version of Roon comes out).
I disconnected and then reconnected to the server and now ARC is working again. Originally it said:
“There’s an issue with your Roon Server. Your Roon Server is online but there’s an issue that’s preventing access. Go to the Roon app for more information”
When I went to the Roon app (also on my Android phone and also has not been updated) it did connect to the server and checking the ARC connection reported:
“Your Roon Server has been automatically configured and has been confirmed to be securely accessible by Roon ARC”
Regardless, disconnecting and then reconnecting fixed things.
We’re glad to hear you’ve been able to reconnect. Please let us know if this issue occurs again.
The more heavy-handed solution is often to delete and reinstall the ARC app, forcing the latest update. This will, however, require you to redownload any locally-stored files.
