Chord Qutest into Linn system
Description Of Issue
Unable to listen to any song either stored locally (Apple Music) or streaming from Qobuz. Songs either do not play, or they play for a few seconds and then skip to next song. Was getting hardware problem message. So just upgraded to new MacBook Pro. Don’t get hardware error message anymore but I am still unable to listen to any song.
Had been using system for years and all was fine. Since a couple of month. Issue started about two months ago. I can listen from Apple Music, Spotify, or Qobuz app just fine. The only app that is not working is Roon.
I agree with Carl, could you tell us how you restored your Roon backup? I do have some information on the proper procedure here. If you still have a copy of the backup it would be worth trying using the information in that article and seeing if you get a better result!
This is exactly what I did and have not issue with the backup restore. All the tags and playlist, etc. are as expected. The problem is with the playback functionality that does not work anymore (skipping from one track to another one every few seconds). Since I am paying customer will someone help me fix this or am I going to be left with a non-functioning product? Thanks
I did. As I said in previous message, I can listen to locally stored music using Apple Music and streaming music using both Spotify app and Qobuz app. The only thing I Cann’t do is listen to music using the Roon app. Therefore I am pretty confident the issue is not with either my Mac or my router. I look forward to hearing from you on how to fix the Roon app.
Thanks
